Florida State Parks allows snorkeling in the Wekiwa Springs swimming area, while the spring run, Rock Springs Run and Wekiva River have different restrictions. There is no lifeguard.

Blue Spring changes with manatee season

Blue Spring’s water recreation is restricted during the winter manatee season, and reopening can depend on conditions. Never plan a snorkeling day from an old blog post alone.

Bring simple gear and realistic expectations
